Podcast: En Fleurs, Plus en Feu !

En fleurs, Plus en feu ! is a podcast conceived as a living, embodied extension of the PARR project. It captures reflections and feedback from those who participated in the project’s various events and spaces. More than just an opportunity to evaluate the project, it offers another space for Black and racialized women and non-binary people involved in research to express themselves in ways that honour both emotional depth and political insight.
In each episode, PARR staff, facilitators, and participants revisit shared moments from the forum, the Cohort Days, and the BIPOC Days. They also explore powerful themes, such as the importance of nurturing self-confidence, creating identity-specific spaces, building solidarity among Black, racialized, and Indigenous people, and the transformative potential of research led by, for, and with the communities it serves.
En fleurs, Plus en feu ! goes beyond audio—each episode was also filmed. Initiated by Sonia Alimi and Maud Jean-Baptiste, the visual component becomes a political gesture in its own right: it centres Black, Indigenous, and racialized people as they reflect, create, tell stories, and exist fully. It’s a way to reaffirm their often-erased presence in dominant narratives—and to showcase the depth and richness of what they have to share.
Some excerpts are drawn from testimonies in the PSRR report or from the reflective card game. These have been adapted and anonymized for outreach purposes.
